For almost 40 years Jayne lived and raised her family in a three bedroom home in Wakefield but as her children flew the nest and began families of their own, the house felt too big for Jayne to manage.

My apartment is just so cosy and the right size for me. That’s what everyone says when they visit, that it’s just beautiful here.
“It’s given me so much peace of mind. Living on my own in a bigger home had made me nervous, especially at night. I feel really secure here, it was instant peace of mind.”

She said: “It has been a massive help. I’ve been able to settle in properly and get new flooring and blinds sorted to help my new house feel like a home.”
Since moving in Jayne has settled into her new apartment she said: “I’m looking forward to meeting more of my neighbours as they move in and making use of the communal lounge together. Now that I’m settled here, I feel happy knowing that my previous home will be ready for another family to grow in.”
