Involvement that reflects every voice

Involvement Week Day 4

We think involvement should be open to everyone.

That’s why we’re working hard to make sure the people we get feedback from, represent our communities in an inclusive way. We’ve widened the reach of our consultation to include customers who aren’t currently involved, including young people, those in our Training for Employment scheme, and others who may not have had the chance to share their views before.

We’re using bespoke surveys to understand what matters most to you, and we’re making it easier to take part through digital tools and quick feedback forms. Our Neighbourhood Charters are built on what you told us during our On Your Street door-knocking exercise in 2022.

Now, we’re refreshing those priorities to reflect the changes happening in your communities. Whether you’re passionate about local services, green spaces, or community safety, your feedback helps us focus on the right things in the right places.

We’ve also made sure that involvement is easy to access. You don’t need to come to a meeting or fill out a long form, sometimes it’s as simple as completing a Snap survey or joining a working group online. And if you’re part of a residents’ group or community organisation, we’re here to support you with funding, resources and advice through our Resident Involvement Fund.

Your voice matters. Whether you’re deeply involved in your community or just starting out, we want to hear from you, and make sure your views help shape the future of your neighbourhood.
