Involvement Week Day 2
We know that real involvement happens in your communities, on your streets and in the places you care about most.
That’s why supporting the events, groups and volunteers who make a difference on the ground is so important to us. This summer, we launched a digital calendar of events to help you easily find and take part in activities across our communities.
One of the highlights of the calendar was the Barracks Community Association’s 50p Fun Day, a brilliant example of what happens when local people come together. Created in response to the cost-of-living crisis, the event offers fun and affordable activities for families, with everything priced at just 50p.
From tombolas and teddy adoptions to crafts and sports sessions, the day was packed with things to enjoy. We supported the organisers with planning, promotion and partnerships, and we’re proud to have helped make it a success.
