We've agreed our biggest investment and reinvestment programme in our 20 year history. We've got ambitious plans for the future which involve creating places, experiences and having an impact to be proud of.
With an agreed budget of over £303 million for new homes, we plan to provide 1,500 new build homes over the next three years. This is the biggest investment in growth our board has agreed since we were created, as WDH, in 2005.
With over 32,000 homes across the north of England, we're already one of the biggest providers in the region. As part of our plans to create places to be proud of, our Board also committed £178 million to improving existing homes and communities through reinvestment over the course of our three year strategy and £3 billion in improvements to homes in line with our 30 year investment plan. This includes replacing the things our customers have told us they care about like bathrooms and kitchens.
Martyn Shaw, our Chief Executive, said: “Our vision at Vico Homes is for better futures and vibrant communities. We’re an ambitious business built on great foundations and we aim to show that with our plans for growth over the coming few years, supporting the huge need for more housing across the north of England. As well as more new homes, we’ll continue to improve our customers' current homes and to support their communities. Everyone deserves a home to be proud of and this investment will enable us to offer that to more people in more places.”
