We are looking for someone to join our Community Safety Team who will take responsibility for serious anti-social behaviour casework.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the Community Safety Team, you will support the delivery of Vico Homes Community Safety Strategy and policies and procedures for tackling anti-social behaviour. Your role will involve promptly assessing and investigating each case to determine whether preventative, intervention or legal action is required through a customer centred approach.
As a Community Safety Officer, you will provide direct support to witnesses and victims, ensuring that they are kept informed as to the progress of their case and supported throughout the various stages of the process. You will also work closely with a wide range of community safety partners to ensure a coordinated response to tackling issues of anti-social behaviour, domestic violence, and hate crime.
What we’re looking for
You will have experience of working with partner agencies and preparing legal cases and developing improvement plans that recognize the issues affecting individual communities and vulnerable victims of anti-social behaviour.
Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent customer service, have strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work flexibly in a high paced environment.
