We have an exciting opportunity to join our Governance and Executive Team, providing professional and efficient support to our Chief Executive, Executive Directors, Board and Committees. This role, and the wider team, are critical to the successful running of the business, ensuring we are well governed and that our Vico Executive Team are effectively supported.
What you’ll be doing
The successful applicant will support the Vico Executive Team and will work one to one with at least one Executive Director, ensuring effective time management is in place, issues are progress chased and meetings are arranged and prepared for. You will act as quality control; checking and challenging information to ensure it is prepared to corporate standards and is of the highest quality. You will also be responsible for a number of committee and corporate level meetings, ensuring they are effectively managed from start to finish, ensuring agendas, associated documents, minutes and action lists are all to a high standard. Meeting and enforcing deadlines are a key aspect of this role and it is essential that you are highly organised with strong communication skills.
What we’re looking for
- A qualification at Level 3 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework.
- Significant experience of administrative work in a similar environment.
- Highly effective communication skills with a range of internal and external stakeholders with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior managers and directors.
- A positive, proactive and professional attitude in a highly pressured environment.
- Excellent quality assurance skills, with the ability to work accurately and error free.
- Excellent ICT skills and experience in working digitally.
