Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor, who is agile, accurate, organised, takes pride in their work, delivers high standards, and wants to use their skills to benefit Vico Homes communities and the local area? If so, this role could be for you!
The Capital Works team are looking for someone to manage a team of Quantity Surveyors to ensure the delivery of Vico Home’s capital reinvestment programme by arranging the procurement and contract management activities for each construction project.
What you’ll do
In this role you will ensure team members collate financial and operational performance monitoring information relating to the delivery of the capital reinvestment programme, and associated planned property maintenance projects, for reporting and governance purposes in accordance with set budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
You will be expected to work across various work environments, including home, office, and construction sites to help and support the teams across the department and ensure services deliver value for money.
What we’re looking for
- A qualification at Level 5 of the Framework for Higher Education Qualification, such as a First Degree, Award, Certificate or Diploma at level 5 or equivalent
- Experience in the management and monitoring of financial information associated to the delivery of planned property maintenance and/or capital reinvestment programmes
- Experience in the management of procurement activities, with good communication and negotiation skills
- Experience of working with construction related contracts such as JCT 2011, JCT 2016, etc
- Proven track record in a similar position in the construction sector, or Property Services department of a large Registered Provider(RP) or local authority
