Following a recent change in regulations, we’ll be sending you a copy of your Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) within 28 days of us doing an electrical inspection in your home. The regulations come into force on 1 May but we’re getting ahead of the game.
What this means for you
If you’ve recently had an electrical inspection:
- You’ll get your EICR within 28 days.
- The report gives you clear information about the safety and condition of your electrical installation.
- You don’t need to do anything; we’ll take care of this for you.
We’re updating our systems and processes to make sure we meet this requirement and continue to provide a reliable and transparent service.
