Vico Homes customer, Colin Hardwicke, has launched a new LGBTQ+ customer group, thanks to support from colleagues.
The launch event was a great success and saw tenants and allies come together to form the group, as well as canine ally, Loki, a lurcher-greyhound cross.
There was also great support from interested colleagues, local councillors, NHS Yorkshire SmokeFree and local Green Party representatives.
Colin invited attendees to suggest potential names for the group, so we can’t wait to find out the official group name once its decided.
It was a week of celebrations for Colin who was also recently named a worthy finalist at the national Housing Heroes Awards, making the official launch of the forum an especially proud moment.
