Vico Homes is built on the foundations of WDH. We are looking for a Development Programme Manager to join our Development Team.
At Vico Homes, we are driven by a clear purpose: building vibrant communities and better futures. As a values-led organisation with strong ambitions, we are committed to making a meaningful difference with homes to be proud of. We are looking for someone who is proactive, delivery-focused, and committed to ensuring the highest standards of governance, bringing strong drive and accountability to everything they do. Your Next Big Career Move
This is not just another development role. As our new Development Programme Manager, you’ll take the helm of our Strategic Partnership with Homes England — a programme with the power to make a real difference, supporting the delivery of Vico Homes's growth ambition of 10,000 homes over 10 years across the North of England.
You’ll oversee £250m in grant funding, guide long term financial expenditure exceeding £500m, and lead the delivery of this high impact housing programme that will help shape our future growth.
You’ll provide strategic leadership, robust oversight, and expert programme management to ensure our development commitments are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to the highest standard.
As the Development Programme Manager you will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area based at our Head Office in Castleford.
What you’ll do
- Leading the strategic direction and delivery of Vico Homes’ Homes England Strategic Partnership, ensuring governance, compliance and alignment with organisational priorities.
- Providing end-to-end programme leadership across the Homes England Grant Programme, driving performance and delivery against agreed targets and outputs.
- Managing and optimising £250m of grant funding while overseeing financial performance across a £500m+ programme.
- Acting as the senior relationship lead with Homes England, maintaining strong partnerships and ensuring contractual commitments are met.
- Establishing robust programme governance, performance management and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality, compliant delivery
What we’re looking for
You’ll have experience in development, programme leadership and Homes England funding — but more importantly, you’ll bring passion, integrity and a commitment to doing work that matters.
If you’re ready for a role where you’ll lead at scale, shaping strategic delivery and ensuring high impact, compliant development programmes that create lasting communities, this is it.
