About the role

We are looking for someone who is committed to organise and manage an efficient and cost-effective Electrical Services Team for allocated areas of work. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the highest level of service to our customers and various stakeholders, ensuring full compliance with current regulations. 

Your primary focus will be on electrical testing, repair and maintenance and improvement schemes. You will play a key role in achieving Vico Homes corporate and team objectives by monitoring and meeting Key Performance Indicators. 

What we’re looking for

  • a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment including AM2 or equivalent recognised City and Guilds qualification;
  • an electrical testing qualification City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent;
  • a management qualification or a willingness to work towards;
  • a knowledge and understanding of new electrical installations, repair and maintenance issues and a sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and legislation within the Electrical and social housing sector;
  • experience in diagnosing and resolving electrical building defects and applying appropriate remedies;
  • a proven track record in excellent customer-focused service provision; and
  • the ability to work flexibly in terms of hours of work and work content. 

Additional information:

The core hours of the role are 37 hours. However you may be asked to work flexibly between 8am and 8pm (including some weekend working).  A current, valid UK driving licence is an essential for this role.
