We are looking for people with drive, commitment and passion to help maintain and improve the estates where Vico Homes owns and manages.  

In this role, you’ll be a visible and trusted presence in our neighbourhoods, always promoting our service in line with our Team Plan, Customer Charter Standards and all legal and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do

As an Estate Officer, you’ll manage tenancy conditions and support customers to sustain their homes. You’ll also play a key role in improving the environmental quality of our neighbourhoods, helping to create places where people feel safe, supported and proud to live.

You’ll take timely and appropriate action when tenancy breaches are identified, offering the right support and delivering excellent customer service throughout. Using a holistic, person centred approach to tenancy management, you’ll work with customers to address issues fairly and consistently, helping them maintain successful and sustainable tenancies.

What we’re looking for

To join our Estates team, we are looking for someone with:

  • relevant and significant housing experience;
  • an understanding of the issues affecting individual tenants and the wider community;
  • strong and effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • ability to deliver high levels of performance to meet the agreed targets, standards and deadlines in a performance-oriented culture;
  • excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • decisive analytical and interpretation skills; and
  • self-motivated with the ability to work in pressurised situations.

Please note. that the postholder will need yo hold a current, valid UK driving licence with the ability to travel throughout the Wakefield district and operating area as needed. on You may also be required to attend occasional out of hours meetings and take part in call out or emergency planning arrangements.
