We’re looking to recruit skilled Gas Engineers to join our growing team and provide essential services to our customers across Yorkshire and surrounding counties.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining warm, safe homes by carrying out installation, servicing, and maintenance of gas appliances and central heating systems primarily in social housing properties.
What you’ll be doing
- Install, service, and maintain a range of gas appliances, heating systems, and unvented cylinders.
- Work in occupied and void properties, ensuring all jobs are carried out safely and to a high standard.
- Ensure full compliance with gas safety regulations, including inspections, certifications, and documentation.
- Support external contracts and schemes of work across company-owned properties.
- Deliver excellent service in a customer-focused environment.
What we’re looking for
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- ACS certification: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1
- Level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Natural Gas Installation or equivalent – EUSGU-010)
- Experience in installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of gas systems
- Knowledge of Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and Unsafe Situations Procedure
- Strong customer service skills
- A full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of the social housing sector and relevant regulations
- Experience with heat networks and communal heating systems
- Familiarity with renewable technologies or a willingness to learn, as we move towards net-zero
The core hours of the role are 37 hours, 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday. However, you may be required to work flexibly between 8am and 8pm (including some weekend working).
In addition to this, we provide our engineers with a company van for work use, as well as plant, tools, workwear including PPE, and electronic devices to enable agile working.
