We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Homesearch Liaison Officer to join our Allocation Voids and New Tenancies Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with housing or office-based experience who can coordinate complex processes, communicate confidently with a wide range of people, and help deliver a high-quality service to customers
What you’ll do
- Coordinate key parts of the allocations, voids and new tenancy management service.
- Manage void properties to help minimise rent loss and keep homes safe, secure and accessible.
- Liaise with contractors, utility providers and internal teams to keep the voids process moving efficiently.
- Handle issues relating to rechargeable repairs, including disputes and customer appeals.
- Support customers and respond to housing-related enquiries in a professional, solutions-focused way.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvements, performance and customer satisfaction.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a housing-related, customer service or office administration environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
- Confidence using IT systems to manage information and support service delivery.
- A clear commitment to excellent customer service, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A valid driving licence and daily access to a vehicle to travel across our operating area.
