As Vico Homes expands its operating area, we’re looking for a dedicated and driven individual to help maintain and enhance the estates where we own and manage homes.

What you’ll do
You’ll be responsible for managing individual tenancy conditions and improving the environmental quality of our neighbourhoods helping us build better futures and vibrant communities. A proactive approach to tenancy management is key, particularly in addressing breaches and providing the right support to our customers across our expanding operating area.
You’ll manage and monitor a caseload, prepare written statements, and understand legal procedures. You’ll also represent Vico Homes in court and work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our customers receive the support they need.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Pre-termination inspections and void property checks
- Resolving gas and electricity meter issues
- Conducting post-tenancy satisfaction visits
- Advertising vacancies, managing applications, and overseeing pre-tenancy assessments
- Handling allocations, sign-ups, and related tasks in line with company procedures
You’ll also support our Income Management Team through:
- Financial assessments and use of our financial toolkit
- Attending evictions and representing the team in county court
- Supporting with other duties as required by the Income Team Leader
What we’re looking for
To join our Estates team, we’re looking for someone with:
- relevant and significant housing experience;
- an understanding of the issues affecting individual Vico Homes tenants and the wider community;
- strong and effective verbal and written communication skills;
- ability to deliver high levels of performance to meet the agreed targets, standards and deadlines in a performance-oriented culture;
- excellent time management and organisational skills;
- decisive analytical and interpretation skills;
- self-motivated with the ability to work in pressurised situations.
A valid UK driving licence is essential, as regular travel across our expanding operating area will be required. You may also need to attend out-of-hours meetings and take part in our emergency response and call-out procedures.
Working arrangements:
The successful candidate will be allocated a specific patch and will primarily work between home and their designated area. However, there will be occasions where attendance at our base in Castleford is expected, as well as flexibility to cover other areas where Vico Homes has properties, in line with operational needs.
