About the role

As the Site Supervisor your manager will be our Site Manager. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area in Yorkshire.

As the Site Supervisor you will be responsible for Multi-trade workforce and appointed third party Sub-contractors per project

It is an exciting time to be joining us and here are some of the initiatives that you will be involved in:

  • Lift replacement project in a high rise building
  • Garage upgrade scheme
  • Component replacement project

What you’ll do

  • Organise and control an efficient and cost effective work force for allocated areas of responsibility using direct labour and sub-contractors.
  • Assume specific responsibility for the day to day planning, organising and management of all elements of Planned projects whilst on site, in full compliance with all applicable legislation along with Vico Homes Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with legislation, standing orders, financial regulations, procurement regulations, Vico Homes customer care, policies and procedure, good / best practice and specified time constraints when applicable.

What we’re looking for

  • A qualification at Level 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework in a relevant construction related field
  • Experience working in the construction industry with some supervisory experience on a construction project
  • Confident in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and internal databases,
  •  Communication and problem solving skills
