Do you enjoy working with people and making a real difference in local communities?
If so, you could be our next Tenancy Management Officer, joining our Estate Management Team, where we work together to create safe, welcoming and sustainable communities for our customers.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will be responsible for your own neighbourhood and lead a dedicated team, putting customers at the heart of everything you do. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to those living in the community.
You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team to help create neighbourhoods people feel safe, proud, and happy to live in. No two days will be the same from supporting customers through complex situations to working with partners to find the right solutions. You’ll take a fair and balanced approach, helping people maintain their tenancies while building strong, positive communities. Along the way, you’ll take ownership of performance, looking for opportunities to improve and make an even bigger difference.
What we’re looking for
To join our Estates Management team, we are looking for someone with:
- a qualification at Level 4 (RQF), such as an HNC in Housing (or working towards this);
- a strong commitment to putting customers first and delivering an inclusive service;
- experience of working collaboratively with internal and external partners; and
- confident leadership and negotiation skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
This post also requires applicants to hold a current, valid UK driving licence with the ability to travel throughout the district and you will be expected to work out of normal hours such as weekends to meet the needs of the customers and the business.
Why join us?
You’ll be part of a team that is:
- Caring – putting people first and treating everyone fairly
- Confident – trusted to make decisions and grow your skills
- United – working together to make a positive impact
- Ambitious – shaping better homes and communities for the future
